An Engaging Story

Hey guys!
So I graduated from Tenth Hour Project and can honestly say God used the program to completely change my life.
I spent a few days at home with my family after graduation and returned to campus in New Mexico to join the next group for their tour.
On April 14th Caleb proposed to me. And well I said yes!!
Now you all I’m sure are wondering “who is Caleb?” So let me tell you a little story.
Caleb is an intern for Tenth Hour. He and I never really talked during my term and during the last 2 weeks in America God started doing some things. We started talking about what we desired for our futures and what God was doing in our lives, things where very similar for us. It’s hard to even explain the things God was doing in our hearts for each other. But we started talking more and more. After much individual prayer and counsel we came together and he asked me to pray about the potential of us being together. And honestly we both already knew. God continued to affirm things and our leaders Deanna and Dave where walking with us through this the whole time. Relationships are not allowed during the program and we wanted to make sure we followed the rules and where above reproach at all times.
During my time in Uganda we talked once a week continuing to pray about our future and that God would continue to grow us.
When I got back from Uganda I got to spend more time with him and God continued to affirm that He was in this relationship. Our entire relationship is centered on Him and His will and our prayer is that this continues forever.
Well this leads is to graduation and the proposal. I wish I could even explain more of what God did and how He brought us together but it’s honestly hard to explain. All I can say is I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God supernaturally brought us together for His glory.
God has used Caleb so much to teach me about the love and grace of God.
So what is the plan now?
Well we have already set a date. July 17th. We are planning on getting married in Las Cruces because this is where our organization is based at and we will be staying with the organization over the summer continuing to help with any needs that may arise. We are planning on working over the summer until the wedding. After this we’re still praying on where we will be living and what is next. Both of our hearts are for missions and for broken people. So we plan on living life as missionaries however and wherever the Lord leads.
A door has opened for us to go to The Dominican Republic and Haiti in September. Hopefully this will be the first of many trips or possibly something long term. Because of all of the gang violence and the danger for travel this time period may change but we pray God will keep this door open.
Prayers
Because Caleb and I are both missionaries, we don’t have a lot of money for the wedding. Pray that God would provide for our wedding!
Pray that God would reveal to us, in His perfect time, the place for us to live during the transition period after our honeymoon as we wait for where He will lead us overseas.
Pray that we would be able to go to the DR and Haiti and that God would provide for that trip as well.
Pray that God would provide a sweet honeymoon.
