Florida!

Most of our time in Florida we spent resting with Jesus and growing closer to one another. We live life on mission so even a simple trip to the pool across the street is a chance to share the hope of Jesus with lost and broken people. God blessed us with an Airbnb in a little gated vacation community. So many families were staying in this little community and we had several opportunities to share the love of Christ with them. We went to the beach just a few miles from where we were staying and swam and shared Jesus. We walked across the street to the grocery store and shared Jesus.

One morning we sat down as a group and just got to talk about what God has been teaching us. We talked for 3 hours until lunchtime came around and then we continued the rest of the day in the same mindset. This is true fellowship. Being of one mind, hearts set on Jesus and walking in the Spirit.

For Thanksgiving, we had Chinese takeout. We wanted to do something different than normal. It was a sweet day of genuine giving thanks to God for all He has done. We, of course, had traditional Thanksgiving desserts and went around the room talking about the things we are thankful for. It was a little different though. We have all grown so close during this season and we wanted to be honest. We shared from our hearts and let the time be about Jesus and not ourselves.

There was a lot of spiritual warfare in Florida because God was moving but God always wins and we only grew closer to God and one another.

Good refreshed us In Florida and gave us the strength to move forward for the rest of tour!
