Hey, ya'll I know it's been too long. Let me catch you up on what God has done recently. So I left off in Florida, Thanksgiving, after Florida we went to Mobile Alabama, then San Antonio Texas, from San Antonio we went back to campus in Las Cruces New Mexico. Now I am home in Texas preparing to go to Uganda in a few days. So let's talk about what happened the past few weeks.

Mobile Alabama

Mobile was sweet, we started our time there at this cute Flea Market, we help Pastor Mike from Calvary Chapel Mobile with the table they had and got to walk around the market evangelizing. There were so many incredible conversations that we had. So many people encouraged us to keep spreading the gospel and we got to encourage them to also share. I met a pastor who owned a knife shop that was at the market while I was sharing the gospel with one of the guys that worked for him, he prayed for us and the ministry before we left.

after the market we spent the rest of our time in Alabama fellowshipping with Calvary Chapel Mobile, we had a worship night and went to church the next day and shared our evangelism class. I spent much of my time in Alabama hanging out with the kids honestly!

San Antonio

Before we actually get into what happened in San Antonio we have to talk about the journey there.

One of our vans broke down in Houston. It was actually such a sweet time. We had some issues so we stayed off the highway and as we pulled into a gas station the van just stopped. The van pulling our trailer had to get towed away. We spent about an hour or two in the parking lot of this gas station, we prayed over the van and the people we knew God would send to help us. A man pulled our van and trailer out of the road and we prayed over him and his family. We ended up getting to talk with a prostitute and even her pimp for a bit, she actually sat with us and prayed and listened as we read scripture. Another man named Angel ended up coming over and talking with us he had just recently started walking with the Lord and shared about how the Lord saved him from the life of crime he had been living. The tow truck showed up and we all, 17 of us, piled into the one van that only seats 11. one of the guys rode in the tow truck and got to share the gospel with the guy that was towing the van for us. We rented a minivan and then finished driving to San Antonio. We got to San Antonio very late but we made it safely! God used the van breakdown to spread the love that He has for those people we got to talk to!

In San Antonio, the group got to share our testimonies at the Christian school. We went to the river walk to share the Gospel and went to the evening service one day. We had a good time in San Antonio, it was a short stay really but we got to meet really cool people from the church and enjoyed the warmer weather!

Tour is Over!

We went home, well back to campus in Las Cruces. Deanna and the girls went to a women's Christmas tea, Dee shared the message, and Christian and I got to share a short testimony with the ladies. ONE OF THE LADIES GOT SAVED!!! The rest of our time in New Mexico was sweet, we mostly rested and finished the few classes and books we had. God continued to grow each one of us and revealed to us how much He had already changed each one of us. We are all now home. We got to spend Christmas with our families. Honestly leaving my team was hard, we have all grown so close to one another. But being home has been really sweet.
