So it’s a little past halfway, actually only like 16 days till we go home. It’s been really sweet. God is answering prayers and doing great works.
It’s hard to even know what to blog about so here are some highlights.
A bunch of kids will come visit me while I am working in the copy room. My relationships with many kids are growing. They’re so sweet. Writing notes is huge here, the kids will write little letters and hand them to you. One kid wrote me a note on my birthday, it was very sweet.
We watched the Super bowl with the high school kids at 3am! It was pretty fun! They watch soccer (football) all the time but watching American football was a special treat!
Honestly it’s just been living life here. There is much spiritual warfare but that’s normal for a walk with Christ.
Also I got iced coffee and a salad, the two things I missed the most from home.
I’m really wanting to come back to Uganda and have been even talking with my leaders about what it would look like for me to come back “long term”. I’m learning local language (Runyankole), it’s actually a very complicated language but God has been faithful to help me to understand and pick it up quickly! Mukama Asiimewe Monoga! (Praise God)
We went on Safari! It was so cool! You can’t go to Africa and just not go on Safari. The day was really good, despite the several vehicle issues we had. The can broke down, we got a new car and it ran out of gas. The new car was somehow topless and then it started raining. But after all of this we finally arrived and got to enjoy the animals! We saw SOO many elephants, some lions and lots of hippos. We had a really good time and it was a nice time of rest for me!
Really life here feels somehow normal. I feel like I am home. I love these kids so much and really they love me too! So many have told me to come back one kid even said “God told me you’re coming back”.
Many kids here need sponsors!! Please please pray that God would provide sponsors for them! It’s only $35 a month! If you want to sponsor follow this link!

Prayer requests:
Recently I’ve been a little more accident prone than normal, pray that I stop getting injured! I actually think I messed up my knee so pray God would heal it!
Pray for unity in the team, the enemy is trying to break us apart!
Pray for health, there’s like 500 kids so little germs are being spread a lot.
Pray for sponsors! Even some of the kids I have grow very close with are in need of sponsors!
As always I would love to hear from you! message me Instagram or WhatsApp! Thank you for your love and support!

Ha, “somehow normal.” I still haven’t stopped saying somehow, 2 years later😉 May the Lord give you wisdom and direction for where He wants you to be, and open hands to receive what He wants to give or let go of what He wants to take away for your good🙏🏼
