We left Alabama very early to drive to South Carolina. Now we didnt go to South Carolina just for a wedding, but we went for the wedding. One of the guys from the previous term was getting married, his twin brother is in the term with me as is there cousin. Both of them were part of the wedding party. And David, the groom, wanted Dave and Deanna, our leaders, at the wedding.

We stayed at a camp called Victory Ranch. The people that run it had prepared dinner for us and the family of the bride and groom ate dinner with us. Is was a sweet night. We sat around a fire and sang worship to God and discussed His Word and what He is teaching us.

The next day we went to the Calvary Chapel Co-Op school and shared our SOE class. After class the Juniors and Senior stayed behind and the entire team shared parts of our testimonies, however the Lord led, and let them ask questions. We got to pray with a few of the students about coming for a future term!

After class the church had asked us to help with some landscaping. They are trying to get a bigger building that will be set up better to have both the school and the church together and give more room for the growing congregation. So we all got jobs and spent the afternoon helping them remove some dead bushes and clean up the landscaping. It was actually really fun getting to work outside. Some of the plants had roots that were out of control and we had to work hard to remove them. We compared this to deeply rooted sin that was not put in check. The effort and sweat put into ripping it out was compared to the pain of dying to self and allowing God to remove these sins. It was cool getting to see these spiritual lessons in our physical labor and also see the fruit of that labor in the finish product.

After a long day of work the lovely women from the camp had prepared dinner for us again. We had planned on having a game night but most of us where exhausted and called it a night early (like 8:30).

The next day we went to the Saturday Market in Columbia. We got to shared the hope of Jesus with people and encourage believers. Right of the bat I got to talk with believers and one of them happened to be a pastor! He prayed for us and encouraged us to keep going! We saw men on the corners preaching the Gospel. I'd never seen a street preacher but it was pretty cool. This started conversations for so.e of the people in our group! Many people heard the gospel that day and our team left the market encouraged and fired up to keep sharing!

That evening was the rehearsal dinner. The team was all invited and we all enjoyed it! We prayed over the bride and groom and their wedding.

Sunday we went to church, had lunch and got ready for the wedding. The wedding was beautiful, Christ centered, a picture of Christ and the church. I was really touched by the sharing of the gospel at the wedding. We had fun and sent the newly weds off to a life of serving Christ together!

We tried to get to bed early that night, because the next morning we left at 5 am to drive to Florida! God is faithful to always give us rest. That's what our next stop is for.
