Our first day in Tennessee was Sunday the 14th. We went to church. Pastor dave shared on discipleship, after we ate lunch at the church with some of the staff. That evening we had a sweet time of worship at the church with Pastor John. Pastor John blessed us by bringing us to an amazing BBQ place!
The next day in Tennessee we spent some time doing class work. After that we went door-to-door handing out church invites and praying with people. The group I was with got to pray with a woman whose husband has just passed away. She really encouraged us and we got to encourage her. We prayed with a few other people before we met back with the group. We had dinner at church and one of the guys had talked with a believer and invited him to dinner with us. He came! It was sweet. We shared what God had done when we were out. And Pastor John and Jase played Basketball with each other! Jase won but they decided to rematch! So next year they will have this rematch!
The next day we had evangelism at the mall. I got to talk with a person named Donnie. Honestly I didnt want to. Donnie had makeup on that was very scary. Whiteface and had pentagrams on their checks. Donnie did not identify as man or woman. But God encouraged me to have this conversation so I went. Donnie was very open to discuss with us. Donnie had grown up in a christian home. We prayed for Dinnie and left. I realized that right before we ran into Donnie I had been praying God would give me the courage to talk to the person that scared me. We had dinner again at the church and a night of worship and prayer! It was sweet!
Alabama
We got up early and drove all day to Alabama! We had service that evening and we got to share our SOE class again. That evening we went into the area that will be the churches new sanctuary and got to pray and have spontaneous worship! Worship was so beautiful. We started by just singing Jesus loves me and allowed the spirirt to lead us!
I didn't get very many pictures in Alabama. It was a short stay, but a very sweet time! God is always on the move!
