Tornado Tuesday!

It's been a great week! God is working!

This week we had a few different guest pastors come and teach on a few different topics. Christian liberties, being set apart, religions and cults, and discipleship. I learned so much in those classes. Really I feel like God has been breaking my heart for the lost people in this world, growing my desire to share the truth with people, and reminding me what it means to be a true follower of Christ!

The fellowship with the team has been so sweet! All of our relationships are growing deeper daily and all of us are growing closer to God.

We started a young adults small group Bible study. The guy interns will be teaching it every week. Our first day was really sweet! I'm excited to see how the rest of the study goes! We will be going through Colossians! Pray for the interns who will be teaching, their names are Paul, Caleb, and James. Also pray for the young adults who will be coming!

Saturday we went on our first road trip to share at a church! It was a cool glimpse of what it will be like when we go on tour. We ate dinner with Sarina's family. She is one of the interns. They had a nice backyard with trampolines and a sand court. We played volleyball and I learned how to play badminton. I loved it! This team is a little competitive and we love to play games so it was really sweet!

During our 6 week tour we will be going to churches and sharing an evangelism class. We each will have a topic to share on for the classes and we got our assignments this week. I was assigned the Apologetics section! I love apologetics and I'm excited to teach the Body of Christ how to ise apologetics in Conversational Evangelism. Pray for us as we learn what we will be teaching.

Speaking of the body of Christ, reading through 2 Corinthians this week in our devos, Paul mentioned something that moved me.

"Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches." (11:23‭-‬28NKJV)

Paul has suffered all of these crazy things yet the thing that moves him the most is his concern for the churches. Matthew Henry said

"He mentions this last, as if this lay the heaviest upon him, and as if he could better bear all the persecutions of his enemies than the scandals that were to be found in the churches he had the oversight of."

I want my heart to break like Paul's, concerned for the body of Christ.

It's been really cool to see how all of the teachings line up with what we are reading in our devotional time! It's hard to even explain what God has taught me through these classes. But God is teaching me and growing me and revealing some incredible things to me!

Love you all! Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't.

May the Grace of our Lord be with you now and always. May you stay blameless till He comes. Amen
