The Armour of God
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17
We all know about the armor of God. We've been taught it since we could walk. This is what the guest pastor this week came to teach about. Pastor Christian spent the week diving deep into the Word and really unpacking what it means to "put on the armor of God". We went over each piece, discussing their meaning. It was really cool. Things I'd never learned before. The Lord really used Pastor Christian to speak into each one of our lives. He encouraged me personally and took time to sit with me and discuss what God was teaching me.
The Love of God
For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. Isaiah 54:5 NKJV
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:19-20 NKJV
God has been teaching me alot lately. One of the biggest lessons is how much He loves me. It's been really sweet seeing how much He loves me. I've seen Him romance me in ways I've never seen before. He has reminded me of the sweetness of His love for me. It's not academic, it's not something I can earn. He loves me and that's it.
School of Evangelism class
So I've talked about tour just a little. Basically, the whole team, all 17 of us, will load up and travel the east and west coast for 6 weeks sharing a class at churches and doing outreachs in the communities. Our goal is "To know Him and make Him known" (that's the tenth hour mission statement). So October 10 the first team, four others and me, shared the evangelism class at a church! It was actually such a sweet time. I was really nervous because I tend to have stage fright. One of the interns reminded me that it's not about me, it's about God and sharing His Word. When I really took my eyes off me and gave God center stage He took it and used me as a vessel. My whole team was encouraged and we're all getting psyched about tour. Which is in just like 12 days from now! We leave on October 22!
Tabitha
Tabitha, my mentor/best friend. Came to visit this weekend. It was a fast and furious visit but it was an encouraging for all of us! Her and her husband Jamie have started a ministry and wanted to talk with Dave and Dee about it. We went out to dinner, the 5 of us, and somebody payed for our meal! Saturday they joined us at the market and got to help us share Christ with Las Cruces! I was so blessed by them coming.
Prayer requests!
• travels plans for tour
• financial support for all the team members
• unity with the team, interns, students and Dave and Dee
• love for one another
• divine appointments along the way
Just a photo dump of some of the things that happened this week! I love my team! Hikes, market, silly photos, girls night at starbucks, birthdays and lattes made by pastor Christian! P.S. I got bangs and I LOVE them!

What a wonderful update!! Praying!
